SPEAKER_00:

Yo yo, welcome back to the Feather Your Lifestyle Podcast Conversations on Lifestyle, Passions, and Hustles. My name's Chris. I am your host, and I'm super excited to be back here having the conversation with you. Episode 237 today, and we're talking about a a topic which actually, the more I thought about it, the more I realized how relevant this is for myself, and it it actually puts a lot of things into perspective. And I think it I think it's gonna really relate to you in a way of either it's a realization of like, yes, this works for me, plus it could also be on the other side, it's like, yeah, yeah, that's definitely not me. So it's definitely an eye-opener, but it will challenge you to think about maybe what are some of the things that you can do to really make sure you're getting the best out of this. And I I feel like I'm talking the riddles, but the topic that we're talking about today is energy flows where clarity goes. Yeah, a little bit of uh alliteration. Is that alliteration? Anyway, a little bit of uh poetry happening there, but the whole theme around this is you know, on the channel, on the podcast, Further Lifestyle, we talk a lot about motivation. I'm a very motivated individual, and I've talked about it on my Get Wired podcast, I've spoken about it in the business vlogs. Um, but what if clarity is the real fuel in which enable us to get us to where we're going, right? And I think this is super relevant. Last week I spoke about how, you know, over the next coming six weeks or so, we're going to be really making sure we're putting a huge emphasis on perspective of the year that we've just done, but also thinking about how do we equip ourselves for the new uh year going into 2026. Now, this is relevant to whatever time period it is, it does not matter. But for me, this is just me getting the energy to be able to create this content. And I think that's really relevant because here I am, very energetic, hands moving around, I'm talking to you, I'm smiling, um, because I can see the clarity in which I'm trying to work towards. I'm motivated to get this content to you. I can see the clarity in which of why I'm doing the content, therefore, the energy I have is really bang bang bang. It's it's out there. And I think it's a really great thing to explore, and we're gonna explore it. We're gonna keep this short and sharp, really just trying to give you as much value as quickly as possible so that you can take this and get back to you know whatever it is that you're doing in this busy time of the year. Um, so we're gonna roll the intro in a second, but I will say this if you do enjoy this episode, please share it with someone else that you think can, you know, really take some value from this. But secondly, more than happy to continue the conversation, chuck a comment down below and uh let me know if this was relevant for you. How do you go with energy flow or how do you go with actually having clarity of what it is that you're trying to achieve? Let's roll the intro and let's get into it. So it's it's easy to put work in when you know what the work will do. Right? That's that's the whole premise around this. Like energy flows where clarity goes. So when we understand what exactly we're working towards, when we understand what enough is going to feel like, and when we understand that we're doing something to move us forward, it really does put a huge level of clarity to things, and it gives you more energy and more motivation to actually go out and do these things. And that's why I said so it's easy to put work in, it's easy to go out and do something, it's easy to execute, it's easy, easy to take action when we know what the work is going to do for us and give us an outcome. One thing that I've seen over the last four or five years since starting my business is where I'm motivated when doing listings in my eBay. Because when I when I find some really cool clothing like Ralph Lauren, and I know that that's gonna sell for$55, I'm excited to get it listed. I'm excited to be and I'm motivated to go do the work to get it listed because I know I'm gonna get$55. But when I pull out this random thing, I'm like, I don't know what this is. Does someone really want to buy this? And you don't have the clarity around the item, it pushes you away to think, oh, I'm not motivated to do it, right? But if you have the research, if you have the knowledge, if you have the understanding and the clarity of what that item and the value that it can bring, it will change the perspective, right? So high energy equals high clarity, or high clarity equals high energy. And if you want high motivation, it requires high clarity of outcomes, right? So high energy is from just having that clarity of what you're doing, but the motivation side of it then comes from knowing, well, what is the outcome? What is the clear outcome that I'm gonna have when I go out and do this? So if you struggle with motivation, and it's been a very fun topic that I've been talking about over the last few weeks across all realms of my content, if you struggle with motivation, you need to challenge your why. In terms of like, well, why am I doing this? And what is the outcome that I get from doing this? What is your reasoning? What why is it that you're doing this in the first place? What are you doing it for? And what do you get from it, right? People ask me, like, how am I motivated, or how do I find motivation, or why am I so motivated? It's because I know what I'm working towards, and I know that if I keep doing this based on the results, based on what I'm betting on for myself, that I can see a clear vision and a clear result and clear outcome that will only set me up for a better success or a better outcome in the future versus a current state. Now, that can be sometimes easier said than done, but because I can envision it and I can dream it and I can see it, and the work that we've done to date proves that, I'm motivated to keep going. Plus, I don't want to have the the uh you know, I guess the alternative outcome of not achieving that. So I'm motivated to get away from that. And that's why I have energy, because no one else is gonna come and do this for me. So I have the clarity to know where I'm going, what I'm doing it for, and what is the expected outcome. Therefore, I'm motivated to go achieve those results because that long-term gratification wins, right? I'm excited to get that big payday. I'm excited to get that, you know, end game result where I have the lifestyle that I want and that I, you know, am trying to create for myself and Carla. So that's what you need to be thinking about is what exactly are you working towards? If you're feeling that you're lacking energy, if you're lacking motivation in your day-to-day, in the things that you're trying to achieve, you know, in your work schedule, in your routine, well, what's the clarity of doing these things? Why are you doing it? Uh what are you doing it for? Right? And when you can change that perspective, when you can see the value you add and the outcome you're working towards and what you do today will get you to what outcome, I think that's motivating. But if you reveal that the clarity around what this leads to is nothing, why would you be motivated, right? And I think that's when people find out that you know there's no there's no you know, chance for them to grow, there's no chance for them to get a promotion, or there's no chance for them to um, you know, learn more, that's when people start to switch off because they've had the clarity of like, well, there's a ceiling. And once you hit that ceiling, that's it. Right. Now, the beauty is when we run our own lives, when we have control of our own lives, there's things that we can control. If you're working for someone else, you don't necessarily always have that control, but you can start to then dictate, well, how high can we make the ceiling? Sometimes we have a glass ceiling, we think this is as high as we can go, when really there's so much more above it, right? So you need to really tap into that clarity. And again, keeping this short and sweet, I don't I'm not here to like go on and on about it, but I know there's a lot of people that struggle with motivation, or there's people saying, Oh, you know, this year they didn't get the results they wanted. And you should, you should reflect this year and think about well, what were the things you achieved and what were the outcomes you got, but then compare and think, well, you know, people start a year saying, Oh, I'm gonna get fit this year, I'm gonna lose weight, then you get to the end of the year and you're no further than you were than the year prior. But that's because you didn't really have clarity of how you're going to do it or why you're doing it. Are you just doing it to please someone else or are you doing it for the better version of yourself for the next 30, 40 years? Right? And when you can really tap into and identify those things, that's when you'll start to see massive motivation and massive energy in equipping yourself to be able to get out there and get these things done. So I'll leave you with that. I'd love to know your thoughts on this. Um, if you have any questions, if you want to continue the conversation, more than happy to do so. All you gotta do is jump down below, jump into the comment section, leave a message, leave a comment, and I'll do my best to get back to you. Of course, um, I encourage you, if you if you enjoyed this episode, please share it with someone else. Have another listen to it. We are gonna be dropping a bunch of quick 10-minute kind of episodes for the next six weeks or so as we lead up to the end of the year. I'm gonna be taking some time off, um, and I'm really just trying to get these out to get you thinking, to get you prompted, to get you challenged, to get you ready to be equipped to make next year your best year yet. But like anything, it doesn't have to be about next year. I'm trying to create content here to help you further your lifestyle, and you can take what you want from this. If you don't want to listen, if you don't agree with something, or maybe there's a perspective here that's fresh for you, and maybe you can leverage it. That's my intent. I just want to help you and see you grow just like me. All these things are relevant to myself, things I've been experiencing in my own life, and they're helping me further my lifestyle, and I want to help you further yours. Appreciate you being here. We'll be back here again next week, doing it all again, and I'll uh I'll see you when I'm looking at you. Ciao
